I’m not going to pretend you haven’t heard about the master cleanse, all the celebrities that have used it to create unbelievable results, and the hordes of people that swear by it. I’m here to tell you that, anything, if used properly, will help you to create weight loss – it just may not be the healthiest way to go about it.
I mean, you’re visiting DetoxCleansingDiet.org for cripes sakes! I have to believe the reason you’re here in the first place is to become healthier through detoxifying the body, right? And health develops through a synergistic process that includes several factors – one of them being weight loss. I don’t care who tells you what, if you’re overweight – you are not healthy.
Quickly, before I move on, I have a short story to tell. I walked into a gym the other day, and I saw something interesting. I saw a fat dude coaching people on how to use proper form for certain exercises. After a few minutes of checking this action out, I realized this guy was the gym’s resident personal trainer!
Call me a snob, call me ignorant, and call me whatever you want as long as you don’t call me for dinner, (Sorry, I couldn’t resist) but there is absolutely no way I’m going to take instruction from someone who has not created the same results in their life.
When I want to know about real estate investing, I speak to my cousin who created financial independence for himself, and his family, strictly through that process. If I want to learn how to box, I speak with my friend who helped train professional boxers by being their sparring partner. And if I want to learn about becoming a professional musician, I talk to my friend who has traveled the world with some of R&B’s biggest artists, as their drummer.
What I don’t do is go ask someone who has studied the subject I’m interested in, but has never applied it in their own life. There are extreme situations where this is not the case, like learning how to become rich by reading Napoleon Hill’s books even though he had was broke towards the end of his life. The guy surrounded himself with over 500 of the world’s richest men in the world at that time for over 20 years, and filtered all that knowledge down into 17 principles you can use to create wealth in your life today with – why wouldn’t I listen to someone who studied as intensely as that?
The Master Cleanse Recipe Is Questionable
I’m talking about listening to the guy or gal who has a good understanding of your subject, but is not interviewing the top people in that field, like this guy Napoleon did; or creating the results in their own life. Why would you ever do that? Life is too short to gamble away time learning from someone who may or may not get you the results you are after; and although I have my own criticisms about “life hacking,” I do believe in the underlying belief behind it – get the best strategies and tactics to compound time frames.
This overweight trainer may have a good understanding of how the body works, and the exercises needed to get the results someone is looking for, but if that’s the case – why is he fat? He’s in the gym all day long, right? Why isn’t he utilizing that knowledge in his own life?
I think most people think the same way; and it’s why many of them scour the internet, looking for the master cleanse detox diet instructions for weight loss. They see a celebrity like Beyonce, who used it to help shed a few pounds before shooting Dream Girls, and they want the same results.
What they don’t realize is that Beyonce is an entertainer. At that time, she was, literally, dancing all the time. In other words, she had created the foundation for a high level of fitness, and needed a water flush, which is essentially what the cleanse is, to drop a few more pounds; to look as thin as possible on screen.
She used it as a tool to create a short-term result. She did not use it to create long-lasting health in her life; and that’s what I think most people are not truly understanding. When you use this maple syrup diet cleanse, or lemonade diet (which is what the master cleanse really is) for a period of 10 days, you are not compounding time frames – you’re simply flushing water weight from your system.

If you aren’t careful about the steps you take once you come off the cleanse, you can easily replace the weight you dropped, and potentially put on even more. I think it makes more sense to go on a juice fast, if you’re looking to flush out your system. With that kind of fast, you take in certain nutrients and enzymes you just don’t get using the cleanse recipe.
However, with that being said, if you look up master cleanse reviews online, you’re going to see that some people love, and some people hate it. And that’s why it’s important that you always remain a student of the game, and not just a blind follower. There is no way I can tell you what you feel or don’t feel – only you can make that distinction for yourself. Maybe this diet works for you, and you’re able to use it several times a year to drop weight. If that’s the case, who am I to say, “stop using it?!”
On the flip side, I was always tell my clients to hedge with health. In other words, stack the odds in your favor with the fundamentals of health whenever taking on radical diets, extreme workouts, or supplements that claim to work wonders.
