Go On The 7 Day Detox Diet For The Best Cleansing Results

There are, as you probably already know, a gazillion 7 day detox diet plans available on the market. Which one is the best? Which one should you end u choosing? So many questions, so little time . . . aarggh!

Actually, it isn’t even half that serious. Just the fact that you have decided to do a detox, in 7 day detox diet plana society that places all responsibility on everything, and anything, other than themselves, is a big deal. I think the real focus needs to be on what kind of detox are you interested in using to get the results you’re looking for.

Are you looking to fast? In our world, here at DetoxCleansingDiet.org, we see fasting as liquids only, for a short period of time. For example, you can drink fresh juices, herbal teas, and structured water for a period of three days, and that would be an awesome ay to flush out toxins from the body, while also giving your organs a well-deserved vacation.

You can stretch that fast out to seven days, but we don’t recommend it. We understand that many fasting experts have tons of data supporting several-week fasting plans, but every time we’ve seen it – the negatives always outweigh the positives.

However, what gets the same kind of results a fast provides, over a longer period of time – is a cleanse. A cleanse, once again in our wacky world, consists of the same fast menu, but also includes green whole foods as well.

With a cleanse you can eat a salad, or blend together a green smoothie. With a very laid back cleanse, you can also include fruits as well. The difference between a fast and a cleanse is that with a cleanse, you get to bypass all the adverse reactions your body can have when it is not being nourished properly after a three day period.

With a water-based whole food cleanse, that includes both fruits and vegetables, it is possible to stay on it for 30 days or longer. Again, we don’t recommend more than a 21-day cleanse because of practical reasons, but it won’t hurt you; and if you can maintain that type of diet – go for it.

The best kind of detox diet, as far as we’re concerned, is the 7-10 day detox I ended up driving myself nuts when I first did this cleanse, so let me give you some pointers that will help you avoid having a negative experience.

When you create a fresh juice, drink it right away. Do not store it. The longer a juice sits around, the faster the benefits begin to oxidize, and basically – disappear. As soon as that last drop is squeezed into your glass, pound that sucker down, clean up, and move on to something else;

When you create a blend, otherwise known as a smoothie, make sure to drink that smoothie within a couple of hours at most. You can blend up something, throw it in glass container, and drink it later of you need to leave – but do not store it in the fridge.

The main idea being that these natural foods begin to lose the benefits they contain, the second you decide to process them into something else. A juice is processed fruits or processed vegetables. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nothing on par with the juices you buy in the store, because those things will wreak havoc in your system – but fresh juices are still processed.

The purists will tell you I’m full of crap, not to listen to me, and that a fresh juice is definitely not processed. I honestly don’t care if these people want to be right, or want to label me wrong – what I am more interested in is that you understand how to give your system what it needs, when it needs it.

The reason you’re detoxing your body is because you want to reset your inner environment. If you have not allowed your body to rest by refusing to eat a normal diet for at least one day, you are helping your body age at an incredibly fast rate.

Well, while you’re doing this, you also want to make sure that you are adding important nutrients so you don’t become sick in the process. This is why knowing a few rules about how to consume these nutrients through juicing or bending is critical – regardless of semantics.

Another idea is to drink your juices and smoothies during the day, while eating your salads at night. Let’s face it, the madness ends around day four. Up until that point, all you can think about is eating a normal meal – whatever “normal” means for you.

When you first get on a cleanse, or fast, eating is the only thing you can ever think of. For some reason, I guess it’s because the body just decides that food, as it’s always known it, is no longer a part of the equation after a few days – and decides to make do with the new stuff you’re feeding it.

However, you still need to feel satiated, or you run the risk of falling off the wagon before reaching the end of the cleanse. To do this, at least the way I found seems to work best for me, is to drink all throughout the day, and eat whole foods all throughout the early evening.

Some of my clients have had better results flipping it around, and having juices at night while eating during the day. There is no set plan for this thing – you just need to do what works best for you, as long as you stay true to the principal behind the whole program; which is detoxing the body for better health.

Try the 7 day detox, once you do, because of all the benefits you will receive, you may just find that it becomes a part of your overall diet program.

The 3 Day Detox Diet Plan Is The Easiest To Implement

The best way to start your detox career, at least in my opinion is with a 3 day detox diet program. It’ only 72 hours long, so even the weakest among us can handle it; and it’s because it’s so short, it cuts down on complications.

One of the issues I have with many of the diet plans today, whether they’re detox diets or regular diets, is the attention given to variety. Variety is the spice of life, but not when to comes to a detox. Detoxes are not meant to be an enjoyable experience, they’re a means to an end.

Even the word, “detox,” does that conjure images of happy times and soft flowers? No way, I picture someone huddled up in a corner, going through something most people will not want any parts of. Well guess what? A detox diet, thankfully, is nowhere close to that mental imagery I gave you, bit if it was – I would still do it; for the results it produces.

A detox allows you to reset the major systems that help to run your body, starting with the digestive system. Because everything in the body is interdependent, what happens to one area in the body, will affect all areas of the body.

So a detox, even though it may only focus on one area, will affect everything else; and it’s important that you allow your body time to rest, rejuvenate, and re-energize. So if that means eating the same three to four meals day-in-and-day-out, then that’s what I’m going to do to be able to get those benefits.

Instead, you get these clever marketers that twist the truth all the way around to get you to part with your hard-earned money; for a rehashed variance of a detox diet. And I get more mad at people that allow themselves to believe they go through something, which requires sacrifice, with virtually no pain, than the marketers themselves.

It’s like going out to buy a used car back in the day. I remember going with my older brother to buy a used car, several times growing up, and I noticed he always had my uncle with him. I realized it was because my uncle knew a lot about the cars that were being sold at that time, so it made sense to have someone, who knew what they were talking about, walk you through the process.

When I became old enough to own a car, I would take one of my friends at the time, by the name of Moose, who knew a ton about cars, out to help me hunt a car down. See, I went out and found someone who proved to me that they knew what they were talking about, and only then did I feel comfortable buying something because this person could help walk me through the buying process.

I see people online today looking for presentation instead of substance. I understand how you present yourself to the marketplace is important, but if a person is more interested in the design of a website, than the information they went online to research, how can I be upset at a marketer for taking their money; and delivering a crappy product?

First things first, if you want to be comfortable, forget about detoxing altogether. Your insides are going to go through hell, but at least you won’t have discomfort. If you want to create more health in your world, then get ready for some discomfort – because that’s exactly what a detox is.

You can, however, mitigate this with some sensible planning, and creating a small list of salads, smoothies, teas, soups, and juices you can use to get you through the process. Think about what I just outlined for you – five different consumable items you can use during a cleanse, does this really sound like you’re doing hard time on Alcatraz?

And a 3 day detox is a short enough window, that by day three, when you’re about to lose your mind completely, you know that you’ll be off the cleanse within a few short hours. I always tell my private clients, that days three and four are the worst during a cleanse.

It seems like the body knows that I’s going to have to deal without eating any “normal” foods going forward, and it lashes out at you in a bad way. Once you move past day four, you level out, and it becomes a much easier process to deal with.

If you’re just getting started though, the best place to start is with a 3 day detox. Of course I can go into all the specifics of a detox, but as I’ve mentioned many times here on this site, I teach principles – not practices.

Well that’s not entirely true, I teach practices to my private clients and members of our newsletter, but the public, people like you that end up on this site looking for freebies, I know nine out of ten of you won’t implement half the stuff I write about anyway – so why go into details?

I’d rather teach you a principal like resetting your system regularly with something like a cleanse or a fast. You can choose to do a fast, which can last 1 or 3 days, or a cleanse, which can last as long as 30 days in some instances.

Some people do 4 day fasts, others do 90 day cleanses, I’m not here to tell you what’s right or wrong, I’m just here to let you know that if you do not regularly schedule a detox for yourself, then you’re putting yourself at risk for developing disease in your body – how you go about it is entirely up to you.

Using An Apple Juice Cleanse Fast To Lose Weight Mistake

The juice fast is a great way to detox the system, restore your digestive system, and help to create balance in your inner environment.  Juice fasts have been shown to alleviate arthritis, constipation, headaches, and even anemia – but what it was never meant to be, which is what it seems to be associated with today, is a weight loss tool.

Sure you can lose weight with a juice fast, but losing weight is a by-product of all the other benefits it provides. The issue that arises when you use a juice fast to drop a few pounds, is that once you get off the fast, and especially fi you go back to the same diet you had before the fast, the weight is steadily going to creep it’s way back onto your frame.

When you focus on a fast, the juices and water flush out toxins form your system. However, after a few days of returning to a normal diet, the water that was flushed out returns. So the 10 pounds you lost, over the course of two or three weeks, will make it’s way back if you don’t start exercising or adapting a new diet.

The intelligent thing to do would be to do both, you would think right? Unfortunately that isn’t the case with most people living here in the U.S. But if you were to ask someone you know who was brave enough to get on a fast for a few days, what their experience was like, they would most likely say it was horrible. They would say they were hungry, and couldn’t wait to eat the minute their fast was over.

I experienced this myself to be honest. I remember being on a fast for four days, and I was so sick by day four, I couldn’t take it anymore and that’s because I did the whole process completely wrong. At the time I thought I was spot on, but looking back I laugh at just how idiotic I was.

I was juicing everything in one day, and leaving it in plastic container sin the fridge so all I had to do was grab a juice and keep going. That is exactly what you DO NOT want to do when you’re juicing. A juice needs to be consumed immediately after it’s done. The longer it hits the air, the more oxygen attacks it, and destroys the nutrients it has. To make it worse I was putting all this juice into plastic containers. The juice will start to strip the plastic within the container, and some of that plastic ends up in the juice itself, which you take into you system when you drink it.

Even if had done that part correctly, I would’ve still had to have dealt with all the hunger pangs; and that was because I didn’t prepare for the fast, and I didn’t drink the amount of water I was supposed to – which would’ve kept the hunger feeling away. Before getting on a fast, and remember, although many people see a cleanse as a fast, here at detoxcleansingdiet.org – we don’t. A cleanse is made up of green foods and drinks, including juices, and smoothies. A fast is just juices and structured water – nothing else.

So in our little world, there is no such thing as a juice cleanse, only a juice fast or juice detox. Now that we cleared that up, you want to make sure you eat only water-based foods leading up to your fast – at least three days before you start. You also want to make a good portion of those foods organic apples – and yes, eat the skin.

Drink two tablespoons of olive oil on the night before the fast, which helps with digestion, and you want to break the fast with fresh orange juice. You follow this routine for three months in a row, and you are detoxed for the year. Understand this is just one way to detox. There are many more, and each provides it’s own unique set of benefits.

Detoxing the body is important, for a whole host of reasons. The easiest way to think about it is to see your body as your car. If you aren’t maintaining your car properly, then it’s going to break down, and you may need to buy a whole new car altogether. Well, you don’t get the same chances with your body. If you let your body break down, you may not get a second shot at making things work.

My father had a ton of opportunities to get his life back on track, but just refused to take the simple steps to requiring health in his life, and it cost him. He passed away at an age most people are getting ready to enjoy their retirement years. And just so that it hits home – this was after years of punishing his body with all the wrong stuff. The human body is like a miracle. It takes a tremendous amount of abuse and keeps on going. Rather than use that as an excuse to keep punishing your body, why not harness that power to live well into your old age, instead of just getting old.
